What is Equez Unity?
Equez Unity is an educational hub for learners and educators. It provides real-time chat rooms, a resource download library, an events calendar, and more — all in one place.
Who can join?
Anyone can create an account. After registration, an administrator assigns you a role (student, teacher, moderator, or guest) which determines what you can access on the platform.
What are the different roles?
Admins have full access. Teachers can post resources, create events, and manage chat rooms. Moderators can manage chat. Students can read, download, chat, and RSVP to events. Guests have read-only access to public content.
How does the chat work?
Chat rooms are topic-based channels with real-time messaging powered by WebSockets. Messages appear instantly without page refresh. Press Enter to send, Shift+Enter for a new line.
How do I download a file?
Go to Downloads in the navigation, browse or filter by category, click any file card to open the detail page, and click the Download button. Files open immediately or save to your computer.
How do I RSVP to an event?
Open an event from the Events page and click RSVP. If the event is full you will be added to the waitlist and automatically promoted if a spot opens up. You can cancel your RSVP at any time.
How do I upload a file?
Only teachers and admins can upload files. If you have the correct role, you will see an 'Upload file' button on the Downloads page.
How do I create an event?
Only teachers and admins can create events. If you have the correct role, you will see a 'Create event' button on the Events page.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
On the Sign in page, click 'Forgot password?' and enter your email address. You will receive a reset link within a few minutes.
How do I contact support?
Use the Contact page in the navigation (available after signing in). We aim to respond within 1–2 business days.
